Sound Recovery Solutions provides what is called a continuum of care for the clients in our programs. A continuum of care refers to the ongoing step down process of levels of care structured to help clients make a transition to a life of independent recovery. Sound Recovery Solutions offers day treatment/partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, outpatient and alumni care. We have found that the typical 30-day treatment program of residential inpatient programming simply is not enough to create a foundation for sustainable long term recovery. Addiction didn’t start in a month and it is unlikely to successfully end in a month. Sound Recovery Solutions is committed to providing quality, professional, individualized care to each of our clients on their journey to sobriety.
Levels Of Extended Care
Our day treatment program is a partial hospitalization program in addition to intensive outpatient and outpatient services. With all the structure, scheduling and programming of an inpatient program, partial hospitalization begins to give clients a bit of freedom. Since the clients do not live on campus, they have free time to themselves in the evening. However, sober support group meeting attendance is required. Partial hospitalization programs like the one at Sound Recovery Solutions offer individual therapy, group therapy, therapy activities and topical groups. A day treatment/partial hospitalization program is a full day of scheduling whereas lower levels of care do not meet as often.
Intensive outpatient is the next level of care on a treatment continuum. Intensive outpatient programs meet for fewer hours in a day and sometimes fewer days per week. Some intensive outpatient programs are nightly while others reflect more of partial hospitalization programs. Intensive outpatient programs will still provide therapy sessions on both individual and group bases. Some intensive outpatient programs will continue to provide alternative therapy, art therapy, regularly scheduled exercise and topical lectures or groups.
Outpatient is the lowest level of care usually attended by those who are in sober or transitional living. Outpatient meets in the evenings once or twice a week. Outpatient is more of a check-in and structure for accountability for those who have lives outside of their recovery.
Sound Recovery Solutions is a treatment center for men and women needing recovery in their lives. Our goal is to empower clients to become leaders equipped for handling all of life. For more information on our programs call 561-666-7427.
